I grew up in Germantown, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Arts in Web & Digital Media Development (WDMD) in 2013.
My love for writing began in high school, and I pursued it in college to turn my hobby into a craft through creative writing courses, short story writing, and novel writing. I also studied Eastern religion and philosophy, which became hugely influential to my work.
I have continued writing since then, primarily focused on my fantasy novel Thirty Thousand Steps and the inklings of a dark fantasy series, Memkronika. I’m always driven to learn, improve my craft, and make sure my best work is still ahead of me.
My art goes hand in hand with my writing. I had always loved drawing, and transitioned those skills into digital painting. I love bringing imagination to life through landscapes and characters.
At Stevents Point, I was part of the student-run WDMD Advanced Development Agency, where I helped develop innovative applications for grant projects with the WiSys Technology Foundation.
I currently work at FRWD@Bain & Company as a developer. On the side, I run PvPoke, a resource for Pokemon GO, which has been a fantastic development experience combining my professional work and my hobbies.
